A blogpost contains time- or event-specific content
To handle a topic that is strongly related to a point in time (such as news, an announcement, or event), there is a special kind of page called blogpost.
Blogposts can do everything a regular page can. So what's the difference? Blogposts are organized by date and time, which allows them to be accessed using a calendar. Sometimes you'll want to make breaking news more prominent, such as displaying links to the five most recent articles on your home page.
Example
Lorem ipsum dolor sit amet, consectetuer adipiscing elit.
Aliquam fermentum vestibulum est. Sed quis tortor.
