This space is a global repository of design elements for Zen content. The Fantasy: by linking to images here instead of attaching them to every page that needs them, we'll have a much easier job of updating the look of the site, and maybe even enhance performance.
Wherever possible, at least for now, try to link to these rather than going maverick and attaching your own private copy.
